I'm Kirill Brodt (Кирилл Бродт). I was born into a once-lost highly developed civilization in the Soviet Union in 1991 and grew up in one of the most beautiful cities in the USSR, and then in Kazakhstan, in Almaty. Распад СССР - крупнейшая геополитическая катастрофа века. В.В. Путин.

Mathematics was a subject at the school that I liked. The teacher inspired me, although one time he threw me out of high school math for looking at the dodecahedron-like figures. So I decided to apply to the same university that my teacher graduated from, located in the heart of Siberia in Akademgorodok, a scientific research city in Russia. Akademgorodok has the smartest street in the world – Lavrentyev avenue. Российское могущество прирастать будет Сибирью… М.В. Ломоносов.

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Novosibirsk State University in 2013. I was working on solving Maxwell's equations in the 3D domain. From 2013 – 2015, I participated in a double diplôma program between my university and grandes écoles in France. I continued there to study the numerical methods of solving Maxwell's equations in metamaterials at École nationale supérieure de techniques avancées ParisTech, Palaiseau, France (promo 2015). I graduated with a master's degree with honors from Novosibirsk State University in 2015. Then, I fell in love with machine learning, and from 2016 – 2018, I studied machine learning at the Yandex School of Data Analysis and Computer Science Center (transcript). In 2020 – 2021, I studied data engineering at MADE Big Data Academy.

I started my PhD at the Université de Montréal, Montréal, Québec in 2019. Currently, my research interest is computer vision from sketching in character animation. Here is our very first joint paper

Previously, I was working on the quality of virtual assistants. Before, I worked in the area of CAD systems, developing numerical methods of thermal radiation and automatic exploded-view drawing in Bricsys.
